Ekiti State Governor, Kayode Fayemi, has declared Thursday, January 27, as a work-free day for both public and private schools in the state. Naija News understands that the announcement was coming a few hours ahead of the ruling All Progressives Congress governorship primary election in the state.
The ruling APC had scheduled Thursday (today) for its primaries.

Manchester United and Portuguese international Bruno Fernandes has been involved in a car accident. The accident according to reports happened in the early hours of Monday.
The Portuguese and other parties involved in the incident are, however, reportedly safe and sound.
