No fewer than 15 suspected oil thieves and six vesssels were handed over to the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), for prosecution in Port Harcourt on Sunday, November 8, by the Nigerian Navy .
The executive officer of Nigerian Navy Ship (NNS), Olusegun Soyemi during the handover of the thieves disclosed that the suspects were arrested for their alleged involvements in unlawful bunkering.

The National Union of Petroleum and Gas Workers (NUPENG) has announced the suspension of the planned strike by its affiliate members, Petroleum Tanker Drivers (PTD). Naija News reports that the PTD had planned to embark on a nationwide strike action on Monday over the state of bad highways across the country and other issues.
